Chef Hanner is a very serious chef having won the chef of the year award a few years back. The Gastronomic menu is a masterpiece with all the courses well thought through. The wines can also be included with a different glass per course. The service is both lively and good. A restaurant that is genuinely difficult to fault. And to show it is not too stuffy I was pleased to see a (well-behaved) dog under the next door table! There is also a less formal restaurant outside at the rear. The hotel rooms are well up to standard, thus making the Kronprinz the ideal stopping off point, as well as a fairly easy drive from Vienna.
