They are certainly not expensive to anybody coming from London where this standard of cooking and service would demand treble what we paid. Fausto has worked long and hard to make this a truly international restaurant that would compete in any capital city. The goose liver is superb and the rest of the dishes are inventive and well thought out. Worth a long detour.

And on a personal note I forecast Fausto’s success when he first opened. That is now almost a lifetime away but it is still nice to know you got it right!
